This year's MSCA museum will be in traditional boat country, the Maine coast. Co-hosts will be Maine Maritime Museum in the Bath, and Penobscot Marine Museum in Searsport. Small craft are a significant and expanding part of both museums. MMM is completing a complete renovation of their boat storage areas, and PMM has recently acquired several historic craft from a boathouse on Vinalhaven. We'll start in Bath on Wednesday morning, and move to Searsport with Saturday shared with PMM's History Conference. Details in between are being worked out. There will be several field trips to some of the nearby businesses and organizations involved with small and not so small craft. As at all MSCA meetings there will be ample opportunities for the informal discussions.
